This Antique Waterbury Wall Clock is a stunning late 19th-century timepiece, originally manufactured by the Waterbury Clock Company (c. 1890). A partially intact label on the back confirms its origin at 10 Cortlandt Street, New York. Though the clock has been refurbished to run on a C-battery mechanism, it retains its classic railroad regulator style, reminiscent of Seth Thomas and Hahl Pneumatic Clocks.

The oak case, likely original to Waterbury, features a rich hue with a striking wood grain, complemented by four brass spandrels at the corners of the front panel. The front lid opens to reveal the clock face, which appears to be sourced from an Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “Cornell Model” Floor Clock, making this a unique composite piece. A glass porthole with a brass-trimmed edge adds further vintage charm.

This large, wall-hung timepiece is perfect for collectors of railroad clocks, regulator clocks, and 19th-century American timepieces. Whether displayed in a study, office, or historical setting, this piece captures the elegance and craftsmanship of the era.
